Passenger jumps from train window on Odakyu Odawara line Police said Friday that a man sustained serious injuries after he jumped out the window of a train on the Odakyu Odawara line in Kawasaki, Kanagawa prefecture, on Thursday night. According to police, the incident occurred at around 9 p.m. while the train was between Ikuta and Mukogaoka-yuen stations. NTV reported that other passengers saw the man open a window and jump out. He was found collapsed in the car park of an apartment block about 50 meters away. Police said the man, who is in his 30s, was taken to hospital with severe injuries to his head and other parts of his body. Odakyuu Odawara train line officials said the incident caused services to be suspended for 30 minutes. Police said a woman commuter told them she yelled at the man for touching her and that they plan to question him as soon as he recovers from his injuries.
